Unaffiliated Foreign Study Opportunities
Unaffiliated Foreign Study Opportunities are study abroad programs, internships, etc. that have no direct affiliation to the UW. UW departments have not reviewed the quality of these programs; however, University of Washington students may receive credit for many Unaffiliated Foreign Study Opportunities (UFOs) if they obtain UW departmental approval of credits before departing for the program. If you would like to receive UW credit while participating in an Unaffiliated Opportunity, please complete the Unaffiliated Foreign Study Opportunity form.
